Profits were up at the Donegal Investment Group formerly Donegal Creameries over the past year.
In his statement on the profits by the Group, which increased by almost €1million, Mr Ian Ireland, Managing Director said that there was good growth in the Food Agri business, especially in the group's Specialty Dairy business. He mentioned that there were reduced mushroom sales as a result of the prolonged period of hot weather experienced during the summer months.
The group's adjusted operating profit increased from €1.8million to €2.9million. Not bad, all in all.
