Following the story in last month's issue about the plot line in the Aussie soap Home and Away it was surprising to see the headlines from Australia about mushroom poisonings.
There have been a least 4 poisonings by Death Cap mushrooms in the Australian Capital Territory around Canberra in the past month.
The headlines even suggested for a while that some reputable stores had been selling the deadly mushrooms.
Happily this was discounted after some investigations. Goes to show that even Aussies don't watch their home grown soaps!
