Interesting to note that Monaghan Mushrooms were thanked by the makers of The Magic of Mushrooms.

The company obviously provided the location for the visit to the mushroom farm in Scotland, one of the largest in the UK according to the programme.

At the farm Professor Richard Fortey was able to observe the millions of spores of the mushrooms using a laser light.

As the professor mentioned in the piece the spores were also getting into his lungs.

It was a reminder of the perils of MWL mentioned previously on these pages.

The professor thoroughly enjoyed his visit to the mushroom farm.
