MARTIAN LIFE?

While reading about the varied habitats of mushrooms and fungi on planet Earth, Stalker came across this little factoid on Wikipedia.

Fungi have colonized the Antarctic continent, one of the most inhospitable places on the planet, inimical to many life forms on the Earth.

Scientists believe that if there is life on Mars it will greatly resemble the fungi life forms found on the icy southern continent of Antarctica.
