The Mushlume concept is certainly something that any fungi aficionado will love.
As well as being shaped like a mushroom, the new electric lamp is actually crafted out of the toadstools too.
The MushLume features a shade made from compressed fungus which can be planted in the garden after use instead of clogging up a landfill site like so much other unwanted furniture.
Brooklyn-based designer Danielle Trofe - who was the behind the eco-friendly home accessory - says that it will not 'decompose in the living room' and will only disintegrate once it's buried outdoors.
The mushroom materials are grown by a New York-based company called Ecovative Design.
