There was an item in the Irish Independent this month about a legal dispute involving the Donegal Investment group, previously known as Donegal Creameries and Monaghan Mushrooms. The dispute was set to be heard in the Commercial Courts in Dublin as fast as possible.
Basically it seems that with the expansion and mergers that have been happening with Monaghan Mushrooms of late, there is some difference of opinion within the separate entities on how business should be conducted.
Let’s hope it all sorts itself out without too much fuss.
One thing’s for sure though, when the lawyers get their hands on something they always manage to make hay...
