Stalker heard great reports from the official opening of the new packhouse at Annaghmore Mushrooms.
There was a Marquee and they were serving good coffee and grub catered by the Yellow Door restaurant. Stalker is sorry to have missed that gig.
Word is the food served at the event was mouth watering - stuffed mushroom with chorizo and parmesan; mushroom and smoked bacon tarts; crispy pork and spiced mushroom skewers with chive aioli; fried mushrooms in sesame tempura with red thai curry and dipping sauce; mushroom veloute shots with truffled cream and blue cheese. Mmmmmmmmm mushrooms, as Homer Simpson might say.
