It was evident at the Mushroom Days event in Holland at the end of May, that several companies were hooking up to host dual stands at the mushroom event.
As the Mushroom Business editor put it “The increasing trend of closer cooperation and mergers between ever-larger companies suddenly becomes visible when suppliers share a stand, and sometimes companies have merged since the last event."
Perhaps also there was a saving or two to be had by sharing a stand - it might be a sign of the severity of the austerity we're living through right now.
No matter the reason it is an interesting development.
Will we see the same conjoining happening at the All Ireland & UK event in October?
