Stalker was reading recently about the way supermarkets collate all the data from shoppers and weather forecasters to predict the supplies they need when the weather conditions improve or deteriorate.
One would love to see the supply curves for the fresh mushroom produce.
One would assume that the hot weather is good for mushroom sales, with salads and pizzas, shish kebabs and the like coming into their own.
Conversely when the weather gets cooler, one would think that consumers may use more mushrooms to cook with for fries and stews and the like.
Could mushrooms be the all weather food item? Stalker is sure the supermarkets know.
