VOLATILITY
There is continued volatility in the eurozone, causing the exchange rates between euro and sterling to fluctuate substantially. This is always a headache for growers and suppliers as the fluctuations keep messing with prices. On the larger scale the uncertainty surrounding the eurozone keeps injecting fear into the markets and hence onto consumers and producers. All in all the effect is essentially destabilising. Let’s hope 2013 brings some modicum of relief and that things improve in the economic health of Europe and even globally.
