Stalker noticed that the in store magazine at Tesco’s this November-December has a nice wee push for the fresh mushrooms.

The issue, containing “your complete guide to festive food”, has three pages devoted to mushroom promotion and mushroom recipes.

The promo bit featuring the tomato mushroom image is very arresting – along with the tag line – Mushrooms.

So many B vitamins, they could make a tomato blush.  It’s some very clever advertising.

Then the next two pages are filled with fancy food photography of Mushroom and Camembert Wellingtons along with the recipe for the dish.

All in all, it’s a happy Christmas exposure for the humble mushroom in the in-store mag.
