ARTIC CONDITIONS

Stalker noted a wee advert on the donedeal.ie website recently.

The vendor is selling “Artic loads of Spent Mushroom Compost high in organic matter”.  

They are currently delivering to customers in Westmeath, Meath, Louth, Armagh, Tyrone and Fermanagh.

It’s good to see that the by-products of the industry are being put to good use.

The advert also stipulates that the SMC is Pasteurised compost, with no danger of disease.

The nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus levels per ton are also given - N = 8kg P = 2.5k K = 8.8kg with 208kg organic matter per ton.
