The price of milk has been exercising the minds of ministers, farmers and retailers of late.
It’s the same old story, but slightly worse.
Dairy farmers producing milk and then having to sell it on at below cost. The main protagonists are once again the large retailers, forcing the pace, and reaping the profits.
Again the free market method of business is creating unfairness and asymmetric profit making abilities.
Some sort of regulation must be achievable to harmonise the situation.
