The meteorological records just keep on tumbling, as June 2012 was anointed the new champion of wet, wet, wet weather.
In both the UK and Ireland June’s downpours were enough to secure the dampest dismal and dank accolades for this summer month since records began. All due to jet stream turbulence and shifting, apparently.
No matter, the rest of the summer can’t be that bad, can it?
