Stalker had a little frisson of schadenfreude over the discomfiture visited upon the banks in the UK over the Libor rigging scandal.
No doubt though that little will actually change, and banks will continue to misbehave, as they have been doing for so long now. Stalker was amused by the Bank of Dave – the brainchild of a gritty northerner, from Burnley in England, Dave Fishwick, trying to buck the system and create a bank that actually lends money to those who need it.
Of course the banking system hates him – that’s good enough reason to like the endeavour. It’s now a TV show, well worth catching.
