Flicking through the national papers in mid May Stalker was surprised to see the luminous visage of Miss Purdy, aka Joanna Lumley , with a large breakfast flat mushroom, right by her cheek.
The mushroom was in the hand of celebrity chef Raymond Blanc.
The two celebs were involved in a photo shoot for a £2m grants programme, Growing Localities, organised to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The photo was entitled Lumley and a real fungi.
Just another wee bit of tangential promotion for the fresh produce.
