The article in this month’s issue about the deaths and injuries sustained in a tragic work accident on a mushroom farm in British Columbia makes horrible reading.
However it does serve to highlight how accidents like this happen, and how with vigilance it can be prevented from happening again.
Here’s hoping that no such accidents befall any workers in the mushroom industry in Ireland ever again.
