Perusing the Belfast Telegraph late last month, Stalker was bowled over by a large advert for Invest NI.
There at the top of the full page colour piece was the beaming visage of Brendan McKenna. Of course we’d already spotted Brendan on telly before Christmas, but the print media always has a certain authority to it that TV does not.
There were extensive quotes from Brendan about the JFM business and how Invest NI was able to help with R&D to help launch the largest grow rooms possible.
The message is clear enough from the final quote - “We’re exporting all over the world, from the very cold Nordic Countries to the deserts of the Middle East.
With the changing face of the economy today, I would advise every business to invest in R&D – if you stand still you’re going backwards.”
Stalker wonders what Confucius would have to say about that one!
