DITCHES & DAFFODILS
February could fill the ditches is an old weather saying round these parts. Whether it be with snow or with rain, the old saying is pretty wide of the mark this year. A mostly mild month with only the odd bit of snow dusting the hills in Ireland, although there was a slight bit more in England and Scotland the year. The unseasonably higher temperatures have certainly confused the birds and flowers, and have even spurred on the flies to make an early appearance. The many weathers of March will be worth keeping an eye on.
