The popular Sylvan competition to predict the correct finalists in the GAA All Ireland Finals for 2001, was won by John Costello and his wife Theresa. They expertly plumped for the eventual combatants, Meath and Galway. The couple received their pair of premium tickets and overnight accommodation at Jury's Hotel. For Theresa it was her first outing to Croke Park and reports suggest that she enjoyed the whole shebang thoroughly.
