The Monaghan based company AST Totten Ltd, well known worldwide as a manufacturer of mushroom shelving, is expanding its range of operation.
The company is now involved in importing fibreglass for insulating mushroom tunnels. The fibreglass is manufactured to international standards and is available at half the cost that is currently being charged locally.
They also had some outside weather stations manufactured compatible for AEM systems. These have proved 100% reliable and are less than one third the cost of original equipment.
They are now offering compost and air sensors compatible for Fancom and AEM systems.
These will be available at the end of February and customers can expect a saving of 50% compared to current supplies.
The company indicated that they would also be supplying other equipment shortly, but they were playing their cards close to the chest and not giving any details as yet.
