Once again this year we seem to be having another meteorological record breaking time.
This autumn is turning out to be the warmest in 350 years of recording.
In the UK, if the November temperatures keep up, then we will have broken another weather record. September was one of the warmest on record, the summer was one of the coolest – it hadn’t been so cool in 30 years – it was also one of the gloomiest, with very little sunlight.
All these records make on feel a bit edgy about the winter that is about to come upon us.
However there don’t seem to have been any ominous runes, or doomsayers in the wings about the winter.
Maybe we’ll get away with a nice one this year. Make sure you have preparations for the big freeze again, just in case.
Have the snow tyres at the ready, and be well stocked up for any perilous chill.
