I was very surprised because I had been contemplating sending something to the Mushroom People in the hope someone would remember me. The days I contributed were very happy ones. My advice to someone thinking of writing a book is only do it for the fun of it because selling is much harder than I could have imagined. Having said that, if you want a very funny book, beautifully produced, to read to or be read by a 7-10 yr old you could do a lot worse than buy BADD. I believe it is also educational. It just goes to show that someone reads the magazine and website . And there you go folks, if you want to support a local author and get the 7 to 10 year old in your life a book to read, you need look no further.
