Stalker was amused by the furore surrounding the video shoot by Barbadian pop starlet Rhianna in a field of straw in Co. Down during the last week of September.
It seemed that it was the state of undress that the popstar managed to get herself into that caused the brouhaha.
It reminds Stalker of the year that the McGeary Compost brochure came out, the one with the naked model on the bales of straw. All very arty, but one wondered what it had to do with the art of compost making.
To be sure the straw fields around the country have been extremely photogenic this year, and putting a nice bod in amongst the swaying grass is always a good photo op.
Maybe it’s the contrast of the flesh and the golden straw?
Who knows, but it certainly causes a lot of publicity and media chatter
