What with it being the coldest August in these parts for a quarter century, there’s been a lot of griping by punters about the summer weather.
But for the straw it seems the weather has been pretty spot on.
Evidenced by the number of tractors, lorries, vans, trailers, etc, that have been hauling the stuff along the highways and byways of the country, it must have been good.
August was dull and rainfall was down by 20% on the average.
