The How I Made It item was a profile of none other than star grower Leslie Codd, MD of Codd Mushrooms in Baltinglass Co Wicklow.
Leslie left school and set up his own mushroom farm at the age of 17 according to the article.
Things have been going from strength to strength ever since.
The beaming visage of a bronzed and happy looking Leslie leaps from the Sunday Times biz section, overlooking a smattering of mushrooms on a growing shelf.
It’s nice to see some mushroom sector success getting national media coverage and exposure.
