Harte Peat supremo Tommy Harte has a well known passion for the wee dimpled balls.
This year Tommy has been elected captain of the Rossmore Golf Club, nestled in the green drumlins of Co. Monaghan, not far outside of Monaghan town. It’s been in existence for over 95 years.
It’s always an honour to become captain of the club, any club. So congratulations to Tommy on the election. Hopefully he’ll be thumping those denticled spheroids like Darren Clarke and Rory McIlroy this season, till his heart is content.
