Donegal Creameries reported another good year last month. A report at the AGM by chairman Geoffrey Vance asserted that the company was now a global player. With interests in Brazil turkey, Ukraine, and South Africa - the portfolio sure does look global. The 35% stake in Monaghan Mushrooms helps too.
Adjusted operating profits at Donegal creameries plc rose by 14% for the year ending December 31 2010, to reach €3.4 million with turnover up 11.4% to €126 million in 2010.
Impressive enough.
Now the County GAA team has won the Ulster Final one can safely say it has been a really good year for Donegal.
The Creameries name and logo adorn the gold and green shirts of the county players.
