BY the time this edition is out the big mushroom event of early 2011 will be over.
The Dutch mushroom days at Brabanthallen has always been a good opportunity to get an overview of the health of the mushroom industry, Europe-wide and worldwide.
As the editor of the Mushroom Business magazine put it, it’s a good opportunity to meet up, look at some machines, share some chat, and maybe the odd drink or two.
After the glitz and razzamatazz of the Mushroom Days, Irish industry personnel can look forward to the hustle and bustle that characterises the All Ireland Mushroom Industry Conference on Thursday 20th October 2011, at the venue par excellence, the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan.
Stalker has confirmation, with a nod and a wink, from the lady in the know, that preparations are continuing apace.
For sure it may not be as big as the Mushroom Days event, but it will be a good place to catch up, chat and share the odd drink or two – and of course get some wheeling and dealing done too.
