Stalker heard that Reen Compost sent a delegation out to Italy last month in order to receive blessing from his Holiness Pope Benedict.
With a blessing duly received at the Vatican it was on to the big Ireland v Italy rugby match to watch the six nations championship kick off.
Patrick Mc Ardle and his wife Caitriona were the Reen contingent of a group of six who headed out to the eternal city.
Stalker heard there was plenty of fun on the journey and at the match and group were awestruck by the ornate architecture and decoration within the Holy city.
