The weather lore keeps providing spakes to cover the weather patterns we are seeing this year.
The old saying goes that March has many weathers or “March Manyweathers” as Stalker has seen it written– and thus it has transpired this month.
From balmy mid spring temperatures to icy winter conditions of sleet and snow, with storm force winds – we’ve been getting the lot.
Another farming saw goes “March will try, and April will tell whether you live or die”. Basically meaning that weakened animals would know their fate by the end of April.
Hopefully we’ve seen the worst of the winter behind us by the end of this month. Fingers crossed.
