Stalker has often deployed the old adage about living in interesting times.
This year has thus far defied even the most sedentary onlookers to admit that we are in the midst of major flux, and we’re only in March.
The disastrous earthquake, tsunami and nuclear incident in Japan is heartbreaking to watch unfold – any one of the three calamities would be enough to decimate Ireland or GB.
Our prayers are with the people of Japan at this time, and we all must hope that the worse case nuclear scenario is avoided, and that the death tolls from the natural disasters do not escalate.
The stoicism and courage of the Japanese when faced with such real calamity is surely striking to all of us here in Ireland.
