Ex-Sylvan spawn rep Patsy Gildernew played host to Henk Van Gerwen on his last night in the country. Henk stayed overnight at the palatial Gildernew mansions in the Brantry. Patsy had arranged to drop Henk off at the airport in time for his flight back to The Netherlands. Patsy reckoned Henk would be availing of the efficient and cheap Easyjet service from Belfast International. But it turned out Henk was departing from Dublin. Ever the gent, Patsy did the longer run to Dublin airport without a grumble - a good friend indeed.
