FARM DEATHS UP

There was a dramatic increase in farm deaths in the South last year – 25 deaths throughout 2010.  

With only 10 deaths in 2009, the increase is sure to be a worrying one.

One death on farm is one too many, however as with road deaths, year on year reductions is what to aim for realistically.

Let’s hope 2011 is a better year for farm safety.
