Another Irish company represented at the Australian Mushroom Conference in Perth was JF McKenna.
Brendan McKenna made the long haul trip to the conference in the western Australian capital.
He was also in Adelaide for the official opening of the new phase 3 compost yard and growing rooms at the Adelaide Mushrooms facility owned by Doug Schirripa.
As anyone can see from the photographs, the new facility is on a grand scale. The growing room conveyor belt is in itself a sight to behold, running as it does the length of the 30 new growing rooms.
All very impressive indeed!
Word from the conference is that there were lots of important talks taking place, but there was also time for the lighter side, with lots of socialising and a fair bit of Aussie banter.
