Stalker has heard that some growers are in expansionist mode at the moment, which is surely a good sign for the sector, and maybe even the economy as a whole. Green shoots and all that.
Talk of double dip recession is not putting these growers off, so perhaps the runes are good for growth in the economy. That said, there was one slight grumble in the wind about procurement of compost.
Could it be true that some growers are finding it hard to source the C stuff locally and were looking further afield to fill?
