The evidence seems to be that there is no scarcity of straw this season, but at the same time, there is a bit of a price war going on! As ever, the basic laws of supply and demand will come into play, and the price for straw will find its perfect equilibrium point – so the economists would have us believe.
No doubt we’ll hear of shenanigans, of good deals and bad.
But for sure, no one will be paying over the odds in this business climate, if they can at all help it.
