A vertical farming technology company has apparently developed an ultra-efficient system for growing food and plant crops that dramatically cuts the amount of water, land and energy required.
Valcent Products, the UK research division of a Canadian Company has set up a pilot version in Paignton Zoo in Devon.
Stalker is not sure if the technology is applicable to mushroom farming, but it may well be worth a look.
