Stalker was amused by one small aspect of the draft nitrates proposals document sent out by the Department of Environment.
It was the fact that one could request an executive summary translated into Ulster Scots that tickled the funny bone.
Stalker is all for equality and inclusiveness in language, but does wonder if anyone actually did submit a request to read the programme in that particular vernacular.
It reminds Stalker of a job advert in the local papers not so long back – the section regarding marital status in the Ulster Scots version of the advert was a classic. The advert required applicants to state if they were "married, single or ‘just lookin’. "
