In April 2010 the list of Approved Disinfectants for use in mushroom production in Ireland, there are two products approved – Disolite and Sporekill. The procedure for the safe use of disinfectants is:
1. Clean the surface
2. Apply disinfectant at the recommended rate with the recommended PP equipment and precaution
3. Wash disinfectant off shelves, nets and equipment before use.
