In CSI New York recently the forensic team came across some mycelia.
The evidence trail led to mushrooms in the walls – aka the green insulation offered by companies in the US nowadays.
Readers of The Mushroom People would have been one step ahead of the average punter on watching the programme – no doubt leaping at the screen to let the detectives know that of course we knew mushroom mycelia were used in building materials!
