After all the festivities of St Patrick’s Day, you’d think we’d had enough of leprechauns and Green hats and outfits and the like.
Then along comes a report that the Cooley Penninsula will celebrate a reported EU designation as an area for the protection of “little Poeple”.
Check out carlingfordleprechaun.ie if you don’t believe it!
It reminds Stalker of the item from Australia about the mushroom farm expansion being halted by the protection of Koala habitat order.
The mushroom farm owner is adamant that there are no Koalas presently living on or near the farm, as they don’t tend to fancy composty environments and cement domiciles!
According to him the Koalas are as scarce as the leprechauns are on the Cooley Penninsula.
