Stalker has heard that the reins of power have been transferred on the Monaghan Mushroom farm in Claremorris Co. Mayo.

The new manager is none other than Regina, who has worked at the Claremorris operation for many years.

Regina took over her new role as unit manager on 01-01-10.

Surely there must be something propitious about that date.

By all accounts Regina has already made her mark on the Claremorris operation and no doubt she will do a great job in the months and years to come.

Accompanying the new post, Stalker is told that Regina has also acquired some new wheels for the job at hand.

The exact model thus far eludes Stalker's cognition, but it is doubtless a suitable vehicle for the on-farm job.

Regina took over in the middle of the winter white-out - challenging conditions indeed for any type of horticultural or agricultural enterprise.

Let's hope the ice and snow didn't dampen her ardour for intensive mushroom production.
