SALT SELLER

The big freeze fairly took grip of the nation from early December to mid-January.

At Scully Grower Supplies the company were inundated with requests for warm gloves, hats, wellingtons and jackets.

But of course the biggest seller was salt.

Scully received calls from all over Ireland requesting salt.

Of course the precious substance was in short supply, but the company managed to get enough to keep everyone happy.

Seems like someone got off to a crystalline start over the New Year ice-a-thon.
