In the Teagasc December bulletin there was news of personnel changes in DAFF in Ireland.
Michael Hickey, the long time Senior Inspector at the Department of Agriculture grant section, has moved to another section.
“Michael had a great interest in mushroom development and was always approachable and receptive to new ideas.”
The new Inspector is Gabriel Roe. He has already visited a mushroom farm and has discussed with Teagasc staff the benefits of the grant schemes to the mushroom sector.
