The spate of ATM thefts in the North is garnering big news lately.
A special police unit may well have been set up to try and detect the gangs involved.
The latest smash and grab attempt happened in the small hours of Wednesday 9th of December.
The attempt was made to steal a Bank of Ireland ATM with a digger in Keady, Co. Armagh. The thieves were unable to retrieve the ATM machine after it was buried under rubble.
The resultant lack of a cash machine is sure to affect many in the area. Stalker knows of some mushroom industry personnel who are going to have to go find another outlet to get cash from, on their way home.
The whole country, north and south, rightly have issues with the banks of late, but ripping their walls out and wrecking cash machines is not the way to go about expressing one’s upset!
