The Irish mushroom industry was represented by two companies at the UK Food and Drink Expo held in the NEC in Birmingham from March 17 – 20th. Hughes Mushrooms sent the able team of Kieran Hughes and Jim O'Donnell to ply the company's wares. McGeary Mushrooms fielded the expert team of John Oakley, Geoffrey McCartney, John Schooler and Thomas McGeary. The event headlined under the telling phrase –"Ideas To Dine For".
