One grower in the Leitrim vicinity who was at the mushrooms manys a long year, and another grower from outside Armagh, who ran a very prosperous and progressive unit.
These are the signs of the continuing haemorrhage from the industry of experienced growers that leave the mushrooming community much reduced, a mere shadow of what it once was.
