It’s coming to that time of year when there is monies for P.O’s coming on stream.
As ever folk within the industry wait to see the figures that are generated from that avenue.
There is also word that on farm development grants for refrigeration are in the offing.
Any news on that score will be greatly welcomed by growers.
The mantras emanating from the powers that be, echoing sentiments expressed at the Mushroom Conference in May, are that “Quality , quality, quality!” is king and that “Shelf Life” is queen!
