The All Ireland Mushroom Conference was the place to be on Thursday 21 May 2009.
The mushroom industry put on its first trade show in 6 years and it was deemed a huge success by people on the day.
With subsequent farm walks and packhouse visits on next day, the conference was the complete package as they say in the business.
With a variety of top speakers on a range of hot topics for the industry, every base was covered on this themed day of surviving and thriving.
Stalker is aware that discussions went on long into the night at the Hillgrove venue.
There was some consumption of beverages late into the night too! It was a great event for meeting old friends and new, the perfect environment for new organic business links to form.
With the Dutch Mushroom Days just around the corner, the more bijou Irish conference put down a marker on hospitality and vivacity that will be hard to top.
